From Above

This is Ballard Locks in Seattle, from above of course. Everything looks wildly different from the sky. Patterns become more obvious.

Most things look quieter and more peaceful, even the Golden Gate bridge and surroundings. I begin to imagine how the world was 100 or 200 years ago.

The Skagit Flats in north Puget Sound looks so glorious in the sun, it begs to be explored. How far back in time would I have to go to walk as far as I wanted without running into a man made barrier?
